Character History:
Unlike her brothers not much is known about her background but what we do know is this: She is from the royal family of her clan and that she is the baby of the family. Her family is rather small when compared to other families in that she only has three older siblings: A sister and two brothers. But early on in her life a great tragedy struck her family and clan; the oldest sibling, one of her sisters, suddenly vanished along with Lehran's Medallion, the prison of a dark god which the heron clan was in charge of guarding, without a trace and was never seen again.
The Heron clan was considered to be one of the most beloved out of all the Laguz tribes and clans. Because of this, other bird clans were willing to aid and watch over the Herons and their royal family. One clan in particular was willing to become the guardians to the Herons and even sent their own royal family to watch over the Heron royal family. The Hawk clan followed by the Crow clan offered to protect the then royal family. Though her brothers preferred the Hawk clan, Leanne preferred the crow clan but more importantly, their young prince, Naesala. The two of them quickly became childhood sweethearts and Leanne, was more than willing to become the Crow prince's fiance.
Of the group of close-knit friends that consisted of Leanne, Naesala, Reyson and Tibarn, Leanne was the trouble maker. This was mainly due to despite knowing how much trouble they would get into, there wasn't a Laguz alive that could resist her and if there was one out there, Leanne would somehow find a way to get them to tear down their defense. Hawk, Crow and Heron.... She could get even their mighty kings wrapped around her little fingers and wings and all were a surrogate member of her family in her eyes.
Happy times could be found for all the Bird clans until tragedy strikes once again which would be later dubbed: The Serenes Forest Massacre. The Beorcs of the Begnion Empire, unknown to any of the Laguz clans and fueled by a close berserk fury, lay blame the Heron clan for a tragedy within their own Empire and without warning, attacked the Serenes forest by setting fire to it. The tragedy of having their most beloved Empress who was one that fought for equality for all races in both Beorc and Laguz alike, was assassinated brutally. The Begnion Senate laid the blame on Begnion's Laguz neighbors, the Herons of Serenes which in turn caused the Massacre to happen.
Leanne before this incident had never interacted with any of the Beorc race before this and it was the first time she has ever felt truly afraid. The screams of her fellow Herons and the sight of those trying to escape the fires, only to be either shot or cut down where they stand. She was in her bed when it happened and grabbed from her bed from her fleeing mother and sisters. Confusion went through her as well as fear at all the sights, sounds and smell that filled the scared woods. Her mother and sisters, after sacrificing themselves one by one to make sure that Leanne and the others make it to the deep heart of the forest. It was there that it was decided between Leanne and her sisters that out of all of them, it would be Leanne to be placed fully under Serenes protection. With that decision, they sang her to sleep with a sleeping spell to better hide her within the forest to wait for the day that Tellius will need light and hope.
Twenty years has past since that day and Leanne's body has grown from a small child to the woman, still asleep... Waiting and yearning for the day that she will wake up again.
Character Personality:
When one looks at Leanne they see what one might expects to seeing one of the Heron clan: Quiet, gentle and caring. What they do not see is that she is also quite stubborn like her brothers and with that stubbornness; she can usually get what she wants. Leanne also has a childlike side that could come from the fact that she was put to sleep when Serenes forest was set on fire. She is also very compassionate and forgiving as we see her that despite it was beorcs (humans) that set her home on fire and killed off her race, she still found a way in her heart and mind to forgive them of the deed.
But that is her at a glance without going in depth of each of those traits. While she is a lot like the rest of her clan, she has her own spin on each of the common traits. Like, when I said that she is gentle, her gentleness comes out more so than her other traits and can easily be paired with compassion. Her gentleness comes out when she interacts with those that she is close to, by offering them the gift of her songs, a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear when they need one or even becoming the doting mother figure to them.
Her quietness comes from the fact that she did come from a royal court that only those who are strong can offer their voice and her own innate nature keeps her from speaking her opinion unless it was requested to hear it. But unfortunately, her stubbornness causes her to find a way to speak her mind or find a way to get her way. Her stubbornness came from another trait deeply rooted within her; her loyalty. She is not afraid to put herself in danger or in the middle of a battle if it means that she offer her friends aid, despite knowing full and well that by entering a battle and or war, she puts herself at risk to become gravely ill which has the high chance of killing her.
Despite being somewhat child-like mentally and emotionally, Leanne can keep her emotions in check and not show anything that is sad or negative unless she is deeply shaken or around someone she is close to. For example, even when she was captured by the black knight and was held in the same room that her sister was kept and died in. She didn’t shed a tear or let herself go into a state of panic and/or despair at her believed fate, fully accepting the fate that she would die in that very room.
But despite all these good traits, she does have a few negative ones that are not quite as noticeable as the others. A small part of her does despise beorcs for killing her entire clan. Even though she has forgiven them for doing so, she cannot help to feel a small and tiny twinge of anger towards them as such she has made it her resolve never to marry or to become intimate with one for fear of losing the memories and the family that she has lost to them. But a part of this resolve comes from her pride, the pride of being a royal family member and being a member of her clan. Even though she would befriend a beorc but she would never become their lover by choice as one because she would be punish by her goddess but the other is because she views it as a kind of ‘up yours!’ statement and is more than willing to die as the last female and not continue the bloodline.
Powers and Abilities:
Galdrars are songs that are used mainly to heal, boost morals, spirits and emotions. There are a few that are more 'aggresive' in nature and one that can kill her if she uses it. These galdrars of course won’t be used without mun permission. Also, she is a Heron Laguz and because she is one, she can change into the form of a pure white Heron and can fly in that form as well as her normal form. She can also sense the amount of Order and Chaos within people she interacts with (with the majority being Chaotic).
Because she is a Heron she can sense or ‘see’ people’s emotions, the state of their being and their thoughts. None of this will be done without explicit mun permission.
Becaue she is a Heron and herons are the world’s most fragile race of people. Her bones are very fragile that any forms of strong sudden pressure can easily break them, i.e. punching somebody will result in her breaking all the bones in her hand. She also has to stay in a certain type of environment or else she will fall gravely ill or worse, die due to the environment. One thing that heavily effects the environment for a Heron is the amount of Chaos within it. Herons are very sensitive to Chaos that when coming into contact with Chaos of any form, the best case is that they will fall ill and pass out. Worst case is that they will die due to the exposure. Also because she has been sleeping for the past 20+ years of her life, she is notably weaker than the rest of her clan.

She could never get used to the Nautilus and all the Beorcs within it and not a single Laguz within this strange world. Another thing she didn't like being here was that she felt much more helpless here due to her senses being dulled and her Galdrars being taken from her. Despite Leanne's hearing being dulled, the cities were way too loud for her and there really was no where where she can rest her wings away from the noise. It wouldn't nearly be as bad if there any either a sapling from Serenes or even another Laguz to help keep her company.
Leanne spreads her wings before taking flight towards one of the houses she has made her temporary home at. Her eyes close as she goes to try and remember what Serenes looked liked before the tragedy. She was almost to her temporary home when she pauses in mid-flight as a small dulled part of her was sensing something familiar. A familiar voice, much younger than what she was used to but there was no mistaking it. It was Serenes.
White wings flared in mid flight before arching and giving one powerful flap in order to launch the Heron towards the living forest. She could not believe it! Serenes was here! This had to be a trick! She blinks as she flew over a tall building with a blue roof and tilts her head before landing in the forest by it...
.... She can't believe it. Serenes is here but how? Why? Despite this questions going through her mind, she couldn't help but to start tearing up out of joy as she walks up towards one of the trees within. All she could feel was pure joy as she lovingly rests her forehead and hand against one of the trees.
"I am home...." She sighs out as she goes to pet the tree, cooing at it. Maybe... Just maybe this strange plae wouldn't be so bad. It can't be if a living Serenes is growing within it.
