For the last few weeks, he couldn't burden himself with the weight that he left his family behind as the kind doctors and healers told him he needs to focus on his healing and recovery. He's still in the last few weeks for his fractures and wounds to close up and heal, and hopefully no more fights with the dragons. The younger one can be idealistic, but he knew his closet elder brother, Artoirel can handle it. "His name is Emmanellain. He likes to dance, sing, and is curious about human music while Artoirel my elder brother is the more cautious one. He has a little one Honoroit who helps him with his needs, but when it comes to fighting Artoirel is the strongest of us myself included."

"I hope you're all right." All the pettings if she could reach his ears, which is thick fur and fluffy that of a typical fox.

Worries aside, "You humans have a lot of things. I hope to learn. I can learn quickly." When it comes to cooking, he has to learn the settings of the stove let alone learning to read and communicate human common language.

This poor fox must have a lot on his shoulders. She wanted nothing more than to release him from his burdens, even if only to until he is completely healed. She smiles as he mentions his little brother and giggles.

"They sound like fun to be around. I have some music that Emmanellain might enjoy if he likes human music. Artoirel, if he is as strong as you say, then he is alright and I am sure that nothing will happen to him. But you are pretty strong, are you sure that he is stronger than you?"

A soft giggle as she continues to pet and dig her fingers into his fur to pet his ears, loving the feel of his fluff.

"Then I promise to teach you what I know, but one thing at a time." AKA how to use the stove well enough not to burn down the house.

"Would you like to meet them someday? I really have no idea where they are or where I am. When I was injured, I was unconscious and ended up in this city. I think the kennel people has the location where they originally found me."

Yup the fox has no idea for all of this time where he is and living with her now, has no idea what's an address. Let alone reading a map. Or read or write in general. He's illiterate.

He wags his tail. The way she digs her fingers into his thick fur feels nice. With his PJs on it's his first night to sleep in.

"I guess it's time to sleep in." He said and he yawns. "I think there's a bed waiting for me?"

A small frown forms as he mentions that he has no idea where he is and just how far he was from his family.

"Yes, I would love to meet them one day. Once you are fully healed we will reunite you with your family. I promise to reach out to the kennel to find out where they are."

His illiteracy will have to be fixed slowly so he can gain a useful skill.

And awwww why is he being so cute?! She smiles as she continues to give him affection, his fur was so soft and thick, it was so tempting to rub her face against it.

"Yes it is time. I have your bed over here. The sheets are clean and soft." Even if this was their first day together, she is still going to spoil him.

"Would you like some warm milk to drink before you sleep?"

Which she could rub against his soft fur for comfort and that would make him happy. He never has contact with humans before, at least not this close.

With a yawn, "I would like that." He said and once he had his drink, he yawns again. He nuzzles against her cheek and gently licks in affection. "Thank you for everything." He yawns and hops on his new, freshly cleaned bed. He finds it comfortable and curled his tail around for warmth beneath the blanket.

"Good night." He mumbled.

Once they were closer, then she will definitely rub her face into his soft fur. But for now, she will keep it to her hands and softerbsqueals of delight petting him.

She blinks and blushes softly as he nuzzles and licks with affection. She.... she never expected that. "You are welcome, sleep and get well."

And here, she heads out the room and turns off the light. "Good night and have sweet dreams."

His soft fur smells nice and feels soft to cuddle with, fresh from the shower and dry from the hair blowdryer. He hums with her pettings and cuddles before she heads off and he is soundly asleep.

In the course of the few weeks and eventually weeks become nearly month, he follows her everywhere she goes. When she comes back home from work, he's the first to greet her happily. He is all healed up and with the doctor's approval, anyday now, there is a plan for him to return to his family in the forest.

"I haven't seen my family in the long time. I hope they're all right." He said.

His fur was soft and clean and she will do whatever she can to make his fur feel it's best.

The weeks slowly turned into a month, Leanne smiles as she gotten used to life with him. It felt like he added such warmth to her home with how he always greets her. With the doctor's approval she smiles a sad smile as she came back from the plan meeting.

"I am sure that they are." She keeps up her smile for him. "I am sure that they will be happy to see you again. You are going to be going home to the forest soon."

It was a happy day. Yes, it is. She was going to keep all hint of sadness to herself as she knew that this day was coming.

He becomes stronger and healthier now. Even his fluff fur has a bit of a glow up in brighter shades and hues. He is not under any distressed. He's a happy fox as he could be.

And he grew fond of Leanne. He helps her as much as he could such as cheering her up after she comes up after a long shift and learning to curl up with her in the evenings by her side until she falls asleep.

But he could not ignore the longing in his heart to be reunited with his family.

"Mother and father and my brothers. They didn't know I was here. They must be worried as to what happened to me. Death in the forests happens alot."

He was filling a hole, a need in her that she really didn't know. Seeing him happy made her so happy as well as seeing him becoming more and more healthy again.

The bond between the two grew deeper and deeper and he made her life so much happier and lighter. From his cuddles and companionship. Whenever he cuddles, she will pet his fur and brush it out.

When he brought up his family, Leanne frowned briefly before studying him. "I will contact the rescue and see if we can bring you back to your family." She smiles and speaks softly to him. "To let them know that you are just fine and still alive." She sighs and stretches a little. "Give me some time to get you in touch with them."

"I think my father and mother didn't know. I want to let them know I'm okay and I'm not dead or killed. That I'll be fine. One of my brothers is still young and they have him last."

He nods, "If you could do that, I'll be happy." He can be patient and wait.

Eventually when she did called, the rescue gave her the address and location. It turns out the region is quite far, but within a driving distance or by train within 2 hours of travel time. It's near a city where there's lot of forests and parks away from her home.

It's a simple matter of choosing the day to drive there to the region and schedule for a road trip.

A small smile grows on her face. "No worries, soon your parents will know that you are still alive. You can even go home to them once you are reunited." Which would sadden her greatly but she couldn't let him see or sense that. Afterall, this was only supposed to be temporary between them.

"Leave it to me, then Haruchefaunt!" She tries to ease any worries the fox may have.

Once the call has been made and sure learned of the location. She went to inform him that in a couple days time, they will leave in a couple days time to go and reunite him with his family.

"Just to give time to pack in case you want to bring anything with you to give them. Also we can get you groomed and looking your best for your parents as well."

He could tell it weights heavily in her heart. That it will be the time for them to say good-bye. But he belongs in the wild and his family needs him, as his brothers are growing, and they have neighbors that rely on him and his elder brother for patrols.

He swished his tail, but he could tell when she isn't looking that he's making her sad. Once she announces that they had been found and they're going to prepare for him to return, he's beyond happy.

"Thank you, Leanne. You done so much for me." That he couldn't contained himself and gives her a hug, a strong embrace to hold her in his arms.
