Haurchefant is in the kitchen, wearing an apron. He's been at it all day, making spaghetti, boiling it, making the meatball, heat up the ready to made garlic bread in the ocean, grating fresh cheese to top it off, and red sauce. He vows it's going to be better than the take out version from the restaurant.

By the time Leanne comes home, dinner is already ready and assembled, breadsticks laid out, silverware and dishes spread out, and filling glasses with water.

"Welcome home! Look you just arrived on time. I made dinner." Without incident, other than a pile of bowls and pans collected neatly in the sink.

Her eyes widen at the dinner arranged already on the table, blushing slightly. This was new, it was only the night before that they became more than master and pet.

"You really went all out, Haurchefant." There was an awe tone to her voice. "You have everything out but the candles." A small joke before heading towards her seat.

"Something tells me that you have definitely won this bet."

It was hard work, but he put a lot of effort in the meal. From the fresh breadsticks, the main dish, and a glass of juice to go with it.

"I hope it's good as I make." He really wanted to please her. "Not only that, but we save a lot of money." So they don't have to tip for delivery. Clever cat.

With a nod. "Mm, come eat. You must be famished from today's work." He said as he sat down.

She smiles at the food and slowly nods her head. How... How did she ever ended up with such a cat? Her precious cat.

At his words, she chuckles and nods her head. "I am sure it is." She blinks at his worries over money it seems and smiles. But, he is quite clever nonetheless and has been working hard to try and save then money.

"Trying to save in case our family grows?" A small playful tease.

"I am! I can't wait to try it!" And with that, she sits down and once she fills up her first plate, she takes her first bite and moans a little. "Its amazing."

At the mention of family. "Ah..." He was vaguely reminded of his brothers and his father. However, his father is his sire, but different mother. "No, that wasn't the idea..." He blushed faintly. "I just wanted to help you save."

He wasn't hoping for a child of his own. He's content being a cat and being owned. At the moment, she seems content with his cooking and pushed the issue aside, dismissing it. He focuses on the topic of the dinner he just cooked.

"You liked it? I'm glad. I studied the videos and the books and learn the right ingredients and learn by step by step!"

She giggles as he blushes, cute, he was being so cute! "I know, just teasing my new mate." She goes to smile just for him. "You are doing a good job at it."

A child with him, she wasn't sure if it was even possible with her being a human and him being a pet. That was a problem for the future as for now, perhaps they should focus on learning to be a couple.

"I love it! You are so good at it! I swear you are going to spoil me if this keeps happening. Would you like more books for cooking?"

Some more bites so she can enjoy it while it is still hot. "I have tomorrow off, would you like to do anything if your heat lets you?"

It still weights heavy on his heart if no child is being sired by him. He remembered how his father told him that his mother gave birth to him and bore him with difficulty during labor. After that, he's the only child with only his stepbrothers as a family. He longed envied male humans but for now it's not like him to quietly brood.

He's content for now for what they have. Their love and relationship are barely near the first year and a cat's life is being there for their owner as a companion until they reached the end of their life. That's what he sees in their future together. To stay by her side and attend to her.

Staying focused on finishing the meal and the day ahead, his heat has long faded, but can be rekindled if that's her desire.

"Only if you desire a day of rest. I can think of another dish for tomorrow's meal."

It is believed to be impossible for a human and a pet to conceive a child. But for now, in her mind that would be a future problem for them to face if they ever want children.

She moves in order to be able to reach his face, giving it a loving caress. This new love, it has started to burn and will need to be tended to to become more powerful.

"I love you, my handsome and loving boy." She coos at him, before smiling in a loving manner.

"Any day I get to spend with you is a restful day. No matter what we do during it. Even if it is mating or going out shopping or exploring, with you.... It will be one of the best days of my life." A soft chuckle.

"But I would love some cuddles with you. You always make me feel so loved, safe and secure in everything."

She thinks for a moment. "If only I get to help you make it."

He felt guilty, but he is the only child and his mother died. He's only a half-brother to the others. Inwardly he didn't feel ready to be a father as for now, he's affectionate starved, only wanting father's approval, but his distant father could not tend to him as much, often leaving him alone to learn to fend for himself which he did when he becomes an adult.

The love Leanne gives him is all the love he has ever learn to accept, to hold as his own, and perhaps filling in absence and emptiness. He loved his family, but Leanne stirs his passion and it felt new and raw.

And he needed to slow down. His heat wanes because his heart wanted more. Besides the meal that fills him.

"Yes spend the day with me." He murmured, almost purring. At that, he doesn't hesitate to wrap his arms around her for a cuddle. "We can make it together you and I."

More purrs, "I love you." He said.

There should no guilt for something that is out of his control. But it was a good sign that he knew that he wasn't ready for such a responsibility. It would break her heart to know just how attention starved he was due to his father's negligence.

The love she has for him, while it is new and primal. But before the night before, it was more platonic than it became.

Leanne smiles at his response to her suggestion. She goes to sit in his lap to fully accept the cuddling. "Yes, spending the day with you and whatever you wish to do."

And there is his purring which she nearly melts a little. She goes to ruffle his hair and kissing him over and over at the purr. "Yes, we can make it. I love your purr, it makes you so much more handsome and beautiful."

She blushes before having some happy tears. "I love you too, you have wholly captured my heart."

Cats aren't the most responsible parents. Once the kittens are of age, they're left to fend on their own.

He only purrs and curls up in response, content and happy at the plan. "Whatever you wish to do, we will do." She can relax to cuddle with him while watching a movie and enjoy the evening until it's bedtime.

He rubs his cheeks against her and kisses her. "Time for bed." He said.

There was a small amount of guilt that comes with the knowledge of how cats raise their babies.

So much purring, how did she get someone so lovable and affectionate as him as a lover? She snuggles back as he curls around her during the movie, now kissing him whenever a kissing scene pops up within the movie.

When he rubs against her cheek and makes the announcement. "Bed time then... No work for the next couple of days, darling."

With that, she attempts to move off of the couch with a stretch, waiting for him to join her to the trek towards the bedroom, where she will change in a sleep shirt.

"That's good. At least you have time to relax and rest." He said. He feels the guilt for being a housepet and he wish he could do more for her.

Still, he hops off and make his way to the warm bed in her bedroom. He curls up with her under the blanket to keep her warm and cozy.

Leanne smiles and gives him a kiss on the forehead. "Yes, nothing is more precious than spending time with you. Perhaps even going to spoil you a little, my sweet boy."

She goes to follow him to the bed, smiling even more as he curls up with her.

"Hnnnn, you are always so soft and warm, Haurchefant."

He smiles back and the kisses, he loves her kisses. He snuggles with her. "If I only I could spoil you more tenfold."

With a sleepy hum, he purrs as he curls up with her under the blanket. Nothing is more divine than keeping her warm with his own body. "Can I be more warmer and softer for you?"

She smiles as he kisses her back before snuggling. Why, why was he so cute and perfect?! "I should be the one to say that to you, my silly boy."

Leanne moves to start snuggling even more against him, his purrs were making her a little sleepy but warm. "And how do you plan to do that my sweet boy?" A whisper as a hand moves to start rubbing behind an ear.

Because he learns to love her completely, pure and true. "Then I haven't been doing enough to do so myself for you."

He caresses and gently combs his fingers through her long, wavy blonde hair, watching over her as she's falling asleep. He leans over to nip on one of her ears. "I only want to please you whenever you want me to." He murmured. For now, he's doting on her, showering affection, and help her sleep with his warm body, keeping her warm, cozy, and comforted.

She goes to shake her head and kept on kissing him, wanting him to feel full of love. "You have been doing more than enough, Darling."

Her head leaned into the finger combing as she sleeps with a smile on her face. Emerald eyes crack open at his words, "The same can be say of me. That I just want to please you whenever you want me to. I love you dearly and you are my light." She speaks and reaches over to pet him, moving to rub one of his ears. "I love you, Haruchefant."

She speaks, moving closer to hold him close to herself.

"That's good." She's happy and satisfied, so that's perfect for him. Both are sleepy and relaxed, so he's curled up with her on the bed, tail swayed lazily as they're both tucked in for the night.

"I love you too Leanne, my love and light." He murmured, drifting off to sleep as his warm body is curled up, keeping her warm, his duty accomplished, holding her close in his embrace as he sleeps.

Leanne smiles brightly at him and let out a small yawn. A hand moves to just run her fingers through his hair so that in her sleep, she can still pet him.

A smile grows on her lips after he speaks those sweet words. She nuzzles against him before slipping off to sleep, burying her face against him as she sleeps.

All is quiet in the night as he curls up with her to sleep, dreaming of her in his dreams. His arms around her as they lay together side by side in happiness. He is hers to pet and touch, he belongs to her, her source of comfort and security.

Tomorrow is just another day and a new adventure.
