Only because dragons are the most powerful creatures, it takes a strong warlock or witch to overpower them and take their power for their own use. Lucifer is confident that Leanne is more in need of his power and doesn't have to worry about her being a threat.

"..." He's about to say the affections isn't necessary but not unwelcomed, but instead changed his thoughts before he could speak. "Yes, now about the dessert. Ah, you did make cake didn't you?"

He eyes the cake with amusement. It wasn't the best-looking cake, not by appearance. He took a bite and he eyes light up. It was delicious.

"The cake is very delicious." And took several big bites until he wanted a second slice.

She will never be a threat to him. Ever.

Affections may not be necessary but it was something that she wanted to do with him. Though at the mentioning of her cake, she will try and hide her face with not only her hands but also hair.

"I did... You said that you wanted a cake made by me and I tried to make it good..."

Just kill her now. She blinks as she hears his praise and the sounds of him devouring the first slice.

"Is... Is it really that good, Lucifer?"

She more than happily gave him a second slice, though her blush from her earlier embarrassment is not gonna fade anytime soon.

When it comes to human affections, he has no idea, being a dragon, he studies arcane magic in his library in the cave for centuries. Although he appears human to her by using his shapeshifting magic, his true form was never seen by anyone.

"Of course." Helping himself to a second slice, "It's very rich and decadent, my dear. I never have anything like it. Of course, I can bake myself, but cakes and desserts made by skilled humans are something else. If only because I couldn't get the ingredients that is available in your village."

"I'll have to brush up my culinary magic so I can teach you. Then I'll have to show you my state-of-the-art kitchen, so you know how to use it."

Then helping himself to the third as the second slice is gone. At this rate, he can eat the whole for himself for a draconic appetite.

"Would you be interested to learn? Now that we bonded, over time with some attunement, I can lend you my powers and surpass the limit of your body. You're only human, but it's possible for me to teach you and pass you down a fraction of my magical energy."

She was glad for his human form as it made it easier to approach him. Though one day, she would like to see his true dragon form. But until then, she will give him affections whenever they see each other.

She remains blushing and goes to fidget with a lock of hair. "I am glad to hear that. Ah, if that is all you need I can do my best to bring the ingredients to you."

But then he mentions culinary magic and she perks up quite a bit. "You have culinary magic?! And a state of the art kitchen?!?!" There was so much joy and happiness at the mere thought of using such a kitchen. "Though, now I will feel embarrassed if you saw mine."

Her joy only increases as he keeps helping himself to the cake. She takes only one slice for herself and goes to idly push what is left towards him. Go ahead and eat the rest.

"You... You would be willing to teach me?" Without thinking, she goes to quickly nod her head and leans towards him. "Of course it would take time! Ah.... Are you sure? I am just me and even though we are bonded through my selfishness, it may be too selfish for one as me to ask that of a mighty dragon."

He smiles, "Would you do that? Bring me ingredients? If you follow me to my home in the cave, I'll write you a list. But yes, there's many different types of magic and while it maybe impossible to learn everything in a single lifetime, you might be able to master a few discipline if you want to be my apprentice. There's herbal and flower magic for example to do the garden, elemental magic to control the elements such as water and fire, just name a few." He didn't mention the forbidden dark arts such as curses and necromancy as it wasn't his specialty, but he knew about it.

He reaches out to take her hand. "You have to come with me. I have to show you where it is and I'll give you a map where you can find me."

Slowly he squeeze her hand and beckons her to pack up their picnic so he could lead her the way to his home, "Leanne, it wasn't selfishness if you have the desire to learn. I wasn't searching for a human to make a pact with. But now that you're here and we're friends, consider me interested. Come, I want to give you a tour of my home."

Awww, he smiled! Leanne let's out a soft giggle and nods her head. "Of course, as your pact partner it will be no problem. Though depending on which items I may take longer to get than others."

She listens closely as she follows him to his home. "I... I would like to learn some as long as you are willing."

The hand squeeze, it was so gentle considering what he is. Thankfully, packing up their picnic provided a good distraction. "Yes, we are friends now. I will love to see your home and I will have to show you mine."

A small thought as she finishes packing. "What made you decide to humor me enough to pick me?"

"I don't know. It's on a whim. I just think your requests is reasonable and that was all." He won't admit he feels lonely as he's used to being alone but he isn't seeking human companion. Lucifer leads her through the forest on the trail. "And humans can't offer me anything of value as I already had gold and jewels for riches and never use it, so your cooking might be of interests to me."

"You might not remember the way at first, so it's going to take some practice. I might have to set up markers to make it easier for you to travel or make you a magical map."

The trail leads them through the forest and then to the mountains. Of course, to Leanne's eyes it's a huge slab of a rock to her.

"Now I have several paths that will lead you to my home, but I put up magickal barriers to keep people out. This one is easy because all you have to do is a place a hand here and then knock."

He showed her how to do it. He opens his palm flat on the rock and then knocked, mutters an incantation, and the runes around the doorway becomes lit and aglow with a light to reveal a hidden door and a stone porch leading up to it.

"You see this is an illusion spell to make the door look like it's part of the mountain." He steps up on the stone and steps opens the door.

"Come on it, I'll show you around."

"I am glad then, that I was the whom you decided to become your whim." She chuckles out as she follows him. "I will have to strengthen by cooking skills then, just so you won't become bored with my cooking. I am glad that you dont need wealth."

She listens and smiles as she keeps a mental note of the path. "If you could do that then, that would be wonderful, Lucifer. If I get lost then I will just call for you."

When they came upon the rock slab, she quirked a brow and tilted her head. That is until the runes appeared and she couldnt stop the surprise gasp from coming out. This was something she will need to get used to.

"Ah, coming!" Please don't let him see her gaping for those few moments. Please.

"Perhaps, when I come by to visit, I can bring the ingredients and cook for you here. That way we won't have to carry the cooked food all the way back here."

"We'll see and I'll figure us a way to make it easier. Otherwise, I'll come to you." It's a winding path through a cavern. With a wave of his hand, the fire torches lit up the path. It's a little dark, but she can still see his figure.

"It's a little dark in here, I apologize. Just follow me all the way down." It's a winding long path until there's a large, ornate door. "It's locked, but because it's me." He gently touched the door to undo the barrier and then turns the knob.

"And here we are. Just climb up the stairs." With a climb to the stairs, another door, and he opens it. "This is the hall and if you turn right, it's the kitchen area."

Where he lives seems to be a huge manor of sorts with tall ceilings, paintings and statues of knights and kings aligned the halls, and decor where rich nobles live. He closes the doors and leads her to the kitchen area and lights it up.

The kitchen seems particularly advanced with stoves and ovens, pots and pans hanging overhead, that only rich nobles can afford. "And this is where I cook." He said with a beam of pride.

"Then I guess you can escort me home tonight so you know where I live." She chuckles and goes to follow as closely as she could, jumping a little as the fire suddenly appears before remembering, magical dragon.

"Ah, no need to apologize, it is your home and if you wanted to stay hidden, having it so dark is the best way." She will continue to smile up at him as she focuses entirely on him. A small soft sound leaves her at the sight of the door.

"Stairs? It might take me a bit with the cart." And true if no help was given, it took her a bit longer to ascend the stairs while pulling the cart, being extra careful with each step.

Then, she got to see see the inside and suddenly no longer feels embarrassed about her own home. It was just a small hovel that she built herself and nothing this grand. She starts to feel self-conscious, comparing herself to him as she follows him to the kitchen.

"You must be quite the cook with a kitchen like this!" And please excuse her as she drops the cart's handle in order to fully explore the kitchen. "It's amazing! How did you gather such a kitchen?!"

"Of course. Every now and then, I would get a young eager hunter wanting my head and he ends up only to fail miserably."

Yes, Leanne magical dragon wizard lair. The fire in the kitchen's fireplace just appears with a snap of his fingers. "That will be my first duty as your dragon to see if you make it home." He smiles wryly. "I never have a chance to prove what I know of chivalry." He said.

"Now you see why I demand quality and quantity in my meals? I'm sure today's dinner is much on your wallet. But as they say, if you invest in something and make a sacrifice, you will gain much more."

So Lucifer opens the overheard cabinet pantry and this strange rectangular ice box where is cold upon opening it. "Let me give you a few days provisions to make up for today's dinner." That include fresh bread, meats, fruits, and a jar of milk and fresh water from his ice box to go into her wagon cart.

Before Leanne can protests, "We share a bond now you and I, and it's true a dragon has so much wealth. I know you humans have different ideas of wealth. But since I employ you and you employ me, you're not going home empty-handed for your work."

A small frown on her face when he mentions hunters and slowly nods her head. "I am glad then, that they failed miserably. If only because we would have never met."

She jumps a little bit again as the fire magically appears. She... isn't sure just how long it will take for her to get used to his magic. But then he reminded her that he will be escorting her home and she flushes quite a bit. ".... Just don't be disappointed by what you see. It's not as grand as your home." She smiles back at him. "You will have plenty of times to show your knowledge of chivalry."

And oh lordy, she can see it and just how much powerful and wealth he has. "Ah, I just had to put in more work than usual but having you enjoy it was good enough for me."

But then he brings out a cold ice box? What? And then he starts to fill her wagon cart!!! She opens her mouth to protest but slowly closes it. "We do share a bond now but, that dinner was the price of the bond you set for me." But, she was happy at the sight of all the food. "Thank you though.... Truly, thank you."

She moves closer to him and leans up to try and kiss his cheek, holding it for a couple of moments if she was able to. "Please tell me how to pay you back for your kindness."

With a confident chuckle, "Those hunters always tend to underestimate my strength, but I rather not cross with them again. My last encounter with one is a stubborn one and we both injured each other badly from combat that is easily avoidable. But I must have said something to wound their pride if only a little."

He packs and loads on her wagon to repay her back dinner. "Come now. To me this is a tiny fraction of what I have. I never like to be in debt to a human, but this is just my gratitude for a fine dinner."

She comes close to give him a kiss. He's very tall, so she must stand on tippy toes to reach him but she couldn't unless he bends over to close the distance.

He placed a hand on her shoulder to stop her. "Be careful what you offer to a dragon, my dear. If you're going to offer a kiss, tis better if it's I."

No, he doesn't understand humans or their need affection. He leads a lonely life as a dragon for centuries so he's fine without a need. Yet he doesn't see why not in giving.

He bends over, tilts his head, and gives her a quick kiss to the lips. "There. Now let's load up everything else in your wagon and I'll escort you back to the village."

She blinks before giggling a little bit. "You are quite the ledgendary dragon, even for my village." She frowns and gains a worried expression on her face. "I... am glad that you are fine now. I will do my best to chase away any potential hunters from you."

And so much food! Even if it was to repay her, this was still a bit much. "Even still, to me our pact was more than enough to repay for the dinner but, thank you." She won't have to work for a while to feed herself.

Embarrassment will soon follow once she realizes that he misunderstood her intentions with the kiss. A small flush creeps up on her cheeks. "Is it because dragons are known to be greedy? I offer a kiss to give my thanks for the food."

And yup! Her blush deepens at the quick kiss. "...." So much blushing and not going to tell him it was her first official kiss. "Al-Alright, though you truly don't need to give this one anymore."

She will wait for him to finish loading before moving herself into position to start pulling her wagon behind her. "You may enjoy the village. Everyone has their own dragon." She blinks as she realizes that she has a dragon as well and goes to smile as brightly as she can up at him. "Yes, everyone has one, so you may be able to find something you like.... Or for one of your stature, you may have some people try and make you into their dragon."

"Well, I never though I achieve such status of being a legend. But then again my kind never like to appear to human much less make a pact and bond with one. Still, that's very kind of you, but I fear those hunters won't simply be shooed away by the sight of a village maiden."

He shook his head, "No. A kiss should be between mates. I never find myself have a desire for one. I lived alone for centuries." He continued to smile. "It's nice. You're the first human I kissed." He didn't see anything wrong with that.

"So I heard to those believers who find themselves worthy of befriending a dragon." Once everything loaded on the wagon. "I'll walk with you." He pulls the wagon as if it wasn't weight anything at all and pulls it through the narrow cavern and out onto the forest path where there's no path but trees, rocks, dirt and grass.

"Try to memorize this path. This way will lead you back to the village. Though I probably have to fly you there myself once I become familiar."

"Well, you are quite magical and powerful even from what little bit I saw. Still... I will do my best to chase them away so you won't get hurt again."

She blinks before blushing quite a bit and nods her head. "I see... I can see why you stopped me then." She then frowns when he mentions just how long he has live alone. "I... Am sorry. Then perhaps we can be a companion for each other whenever you want some." Her blush deepens and slowly nods. ".... And you are the very first.... That I kissed."

And good! A change in topic. "Yes, they may find it hard to believe that I have befriended you. So, don't be surprise at how they may react to the both of us." But then he was pulling the wagon and suddenly she wasn't sure how to react, not used to having someone help her like this. "Th-Thank you...."

At his instructions, she softly nods and does her best to memorize the bath. "Ah, flying? You don't have to do that." But it would be fun to experience flying. "It sounds like you have been to my village before."

"I appreciate the thought. It's best if you leave the strong to the true warriors. Your fragile frame is delicate to even withstand a blow." He said.

"I think we spoke of companionship. The dinner is a good start. Now we just need to walk off our meal."

Pulling the wagon through the forest, "Of course, I know every village of this region." He points to his head. "Remember, I fly around so there's a map inside of my head of the entire continent."

In a few moments, about a ten-minute walk, they're on the path, the familiar road where travelers travelled. "Here we are. Your village is up north." He pulls the wagon further up the road and her village is in sight, with the lights of the buildings and abode light up the town against the night sky.

Just a few yards before the gate that protects the village where the guards can be seen within sight and he lets go of the wagon. "And this is where we part ways my dear."

Ah, he brings up a good point and a part of her hated it. "You are right. Be careful whenever you meet hunters."

A soft chuckle leaves her at his words. "Yes, but it was something that I wanted of you. But I am offering it for you as well." She holds up a finger. "So it could be both ways."

Leanne does her best to keep up with him, allowing her body to rest from the wagon pulling. "I wonder what the village looks like from the skies."

The sight of her village makes her smile but yet sad as she knows that they will part soon. "It seems like your cave isn't far from the village." Which is good. Once they reach the gates and he accounces that they will part, she nods softly and a part of her was relieved that he wouldn't see what her home looks like.

"Until the next time we see each other then." She beams up at him as she moves to take his place to pull the wagon. "Be safe on your way back to your cave, stay away from hunters."

"I wouldn't worry about hunters, I can take care of myself." He grins. "And let's not rush into that bond." He said. "You have much to learn about me and my kind." Part of him wasn't sure she could handle it, but he's pretty sure there's tests and trials they must passed together before they could reach that kind of bond.

"It depends on what path you take. Shall you seek me, there's the other route I show you. So don't take this path twice. The entrance to my cave there's an illusion magic so you won't be able to find it again." He warns.

"Until then. Good night, Ms.Leanne. I shall see you tomorrow morning if you like? I'll come over to greet you and see what your village is like other than the markets."

"I am glad." She lets out a soft sigh, smiling up at him. "Yes, but the offer will be open to you." A small tilt of her head. "Really? Well, we have all my life for me to learn about you and your kind."

"The other route? Okay I will do my best to keep your warning to heart." She giggles. "Or perhaps I will head to the spot where we first met and use food to lure you to me again."

And okay, she perks up and moves to give him a hug, nodding her head firmly. "I would love that. Shall we meet at the gate?" She lets go of him if she was able to hug him. "Shall I make you some breakfast for you to enjoy while seeing the village?"

"I'll meet you in front of the gate appearing in this form. If that's your plan, then I'm looking forward to a hearty helping of scrambled eggs and a dish of hashbrowns or roast potatoes. Whatever you have, breakfast is the best meal to start the day."

This is something he should get used to. Never before he worked with a human like her in ages. But to be fair, he predicated he won't be bored because has been for a while now. And she was too cheerful, generous, and humble but she has her reasons to form a contract with him.

"Mm. Until tomorrow then. Good night." And he bids her farewell.
